Teacher of Dance/Drama (0.7) With the potential for a 2nd subject to create a full time
post. Required from May 2022
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Dance to inspire, motivate and challenge our wonderful pupils.
The tradition of performing arts at Weaverham High School is a strong one. Drama is part of the Key Stage 3 curriculum and is available as a GCSE option along with Music and the option of a BTEC in Dance. The BTEC Dance Course has successfully operated for several years and provides the opportunity for pupils to choreograph and perform their own dance styles whilst developing their personal technique. The course has been extremely successful with a wide range of pupils who have achieved high grades.
