What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, creative and passionate Design Technology specialist to join our forward‑thinking Create Faculty. Our faculty is a vibrant, collaborative and highly creative hub, bringing together a diverse range of subjects including Art (Photography, Graphics, Fine Art), Music, Computer Science, Design & Technology, Textiles, Hospitality & Catering and Child Development. As a team, we are committed to delivering high‑quality teaching that nurtures talent, encourages innovation and promotes cross‑curricular creativity. Within this dynamic environment, the Design & Technology department is well‑resourced, offering excellent facilities to support engaging, modern and relevant learning experiences. We deliver a curriculum that inspires curiosity, develops technical and practical skills, and encourages pupils to become confident problem‑solvers who can apply their knowledge to real‑world contexts. Applicants with a specialism in Food Technology and/or Child Development would be preferable. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who is eager to contribute to the continued development and success of our department. The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards, fostering a love and enjoyment of the subject and supporting our pupils to achieve their full potential.
