Teacher of Design & Technology job summary
Are you looking for your next challenge or an Early Career Teacher looking for your first teaching post?
If so, this is an exciting opportunity to put your mark on a thriving and popular subject.
The Design & Technology department is a collaborative team of teachers and technicians who are all passionate about seeing young people succeed in their subject. The department offers all areas of D&T at KS3 and GCSEs in 3D Design and Food Preparation & Nutrition alongside Vocational Hospitality & Catering and Construction. Over the last few years, the department has seen a significant increase in results and a rise in numbers opting for KS4.
We are looking for an individual who can add to this already friendly and supportive team; a teacher who builds excellent relationships with students and inspires them in their learning. Ideally, you will be able to teach across all areas of Design & Technology at KS3 and be able to teach (or be willing to train to teach) Construction at KS4, which is a new course for 2022.
