What skills and experience we're looking for

Highfields School are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Engineering & Design Technology to join their team.

We wish to appoint a colleague to this post who has:

• A strong background in Engineering
• The Maths, Physics and Electronic skills to teach A-Level Engineering
• A passion for teaching, and a track record as a highly effective classroom practitioner
• The ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues to achieve their best
• Highly effective interpersonal, communication, management and leadership skills
• A commitment to professional development

What the school offers its staff

Highfields is a vibrant and popular school with approximately 1300 students, including 200 in our sixth form. Our students are friendly and highly motivated. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
