TEACHER OF ENGLISH & DRAMA
Directly Responsible to Head of English
We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English and Drama to join our thriving and successful English Department. With consistently strong outcome and a Progress 8 score of above 1 for the last 3 exam years and over 93% of students achieving A*-B at A-Level in English Literature, we have the highest standard and ambition for all students. The expertise to teach A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies as well as English across the age and ability range is central to this post; the department makes a significant contribution to A level teaching with 10 English groups in the Sixth Form. The successful candidate will also play the leading role in producing and directing school productions and running the drama extracurricular programme. The successful candidate will find themselves part of a supportive and collaborative team within an inclusive school ethos.
