What skills and experience we're looking for

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint a ‘Teacher of English’ as part of our school. The successful candidate will join a very successful and established English department. You will need to be enthusiastic and determined with high expectations of your students. The successful candidate would teach English to key stage 3, 4 and potentially to key stage 5 and be expected to engage in extra-curricular activity as required. This post is suitable for Early Career teachers and experienced teachers. The planned start date will either be Easter 2025 (28 April) or September 2025.

The teacher of English will be accountable for: Planning and teaching lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.
