New Leaf School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our team.
New Leaf is a school that is part of The Mercian Trust. It was Walsall Local Authority’s Key Stage 1 – 3 Pupil Referral Unit which now caters as a PRU and Alternative Provision (AP) for students who have been permanently excluded from their previous school.
New Leaf’s students have struggled in mainstream education environments at various times and benefit significantly from the smaller class sizes and additional support on offer.
The successful applicant will have a confident understanding of the English curriculum and have the ability to inspire and challenge students’ attitudes towards English through their passion and knowledge of the subject.
Only applications from those with Qualified Teacher Status will be considered for this post.
We are keen to hear from someone who would be willing to teach another subject, particularly the experience of teaching a practical subject.
