A more recent review from December 2022 acknowledged; ‘Teacher subject knowledge and expertise’ as a real strength within the department, as well as the use of ‘Guided exploration’ which ‘results in very high-level pupil response’. We offer students GCSE; English Language, English Literature, Film Studies and A-Level English Literature. Progress for students is very high in all sub-groups.
