We are seeking a teacher who is deeply passionate about English and committed to making the subject engaging, accessible and enjoyable for every learner to join us on a maternity cover basis (fixed term). What the role involves in a nutshell:

  • To deliver high quality curriculum provision through effective teaching and learning of English.
  • To carry out the professional duties of a qualified teacher as identified in the DfE Teachers’ Standards.
  • Set appropriate and demanding expectations for students’ learning, motivation, and presentation of work.
  • Set high expectations for student behaviour to create a purposeful working atmosphere and a safe and respectful classroom environment that supports the learning of all students.
