We are seeking a talented and inspirational English & Sociology Teacher, dedicated to bringing literature to life and furthering the cultural education of our students and their lifelong love of reading and communication.

As a standalone academy, we believe in our teachers being able to do the role they are employed to do, which is to deliver engaging lessons to our students. We therefore have an easy and structured behaviour system for our students and you to follow in lessons. After this, we have dedicated teams who intervene and leave you to continue with the job you love doing!
Our Head of English would be delighted to take you on a tour of the school and give you the opportunity to meet the department and answer any questions you may have.
As Teacher of English & Sociology, you will be welcomed into an experienced team of creative professionals to:
- Progress the English department to even greater successes
- Plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons that will challenge and inspire our students
- Encourage our students to have high expectations of themselves and their behaviour
- Engage students in study at GCSE Level (A-Level is desirable)
- Be a positive role model and supportive mentor to our students, making a lasting impact on their lives
