Do you want to be part of an OFSTED ‘Good’ academy with a successful English Department? The Magna Carta School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher of English from September 2021 for a fixed term period of one year to work in this supportive and highly successful department and to join our friendly and hardworking team. We would welcome applications from high-calibre professionals with excellent subject knowledge who are able to enthuse and inspire Year 7 to Year 11 students through quality teaching. Being a creative and self-motivated individual is also essential. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and be committed to raising standards of teaching and learning within English. A willingness to be involved in a variety of extra-curricular opportunities would be an advantage. NQTs are welcome to apply for this post. Candidates should: · Be committed to raising achievement for students of all abilities · Be able to motivate and engage students · Have the potential to become an outstanding teacher and committed to professional development and acting upon advice · Be creative, determined, enthusiastic, resilient and passionate about delivering a high quality education to all students.
