What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate about Food & Nutrition, open to new ideas and works well as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This contract is to cover a period of maternity leave starting in January. You would be joining a supportive, committed and experienced Design and Technology team who work hard to deliver innovative and enjoyable lessons.
The successful candidate will teach GCSE Food and Nutrition and Food and Nutrition lessons in KS3 in this highly sought after 11-18 co-educational academy, with over 1,400 students on roll including 300 in our Sixth form.
The role would be suitable whether you are unqualified (with the relevant experience of teaching Food & Nutrition to GCSE level), experienced or a newly qualified teacher, as long as you have a strong desire to help students of all abilities achieve the best they can whilst fulfilling your own potential.
