Teacher of Food job summary

Teacher of Food

Main Pay Scale

(one year fixed term to cover a period of maternity leave)

We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Food to join our dedicated and hard-working Creative Arts Faculty from September, 2024 (an earlier start could be negotiated). This is initially a one-year fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave but may lead to a permanent position.

This is an extremely exciting time to join Arrow Vale. Outstanding provision for students over time has led to two successive ‘Outstanding’ judgements by Ofsted (May 2014 & December 2018). This combined with the cooperative ethos of staff and students, make Arrow Vale an innovative and highly rewarding place to teach.

Our Creative Arts faculty offers a range of courses across Key stages 3-5 within the Trust; Art, Photography, Food and Nutrition and 3D Design. As a part of CRST Trust, we have a strong commitment to the Arts, and the department is extremely popular with students at GCSE and A Level.

Interested candidates who wish to have an informal conversation about this role are welcome to contact Mrs Paige Harrison – Creative Arts Faculty Lead.

Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
