What skills and experience we're looking for
The school wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Geography to cover a maternity leave. All students take Geography at KS3 and about half of the year group then select the subject for GCSE study. Post 16, the AQA A level Geography is taught. The department carries out fieldwork for courses, using the local city resources and the Peak District environment. Staff in the department are committed to working with engaging resources to stimulate students’ thinking and learning.
