Teacher of Girls PE - 40% FTE job summary

Required for September 2021, an enthusiastic, dedicated and qualified PE teacher. This role would be suitable for newly qualified or early career teachers and such applications are particularly welcomed, however all applications will be considered. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and highly successful team. We are looking for someone who can work with us to broaden the curriculum for our students and experience of teaching GCSE PE would be desirable.

Hope Valley College is a comprehensive secondary at the heart of the local community. It is a small, friendly and supportive school in the village of Hope in the Peak District National Park. It joined Chorus in September 2019, when it also welcomed a new Principal. In 2019 the students achieved the fourth best GCSE results in Derbyshire out of all non-selective schools.

Hope Valley College is part of Chorus Education Trust, and as such all appointees may be required to work at any Trust site in the future.
