De Aston School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative, and inspirational Teacher of History to join our dedicated History Department.
The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified teacher of History.
Demonstrate a passion for History and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
Be an excellent classroom practitioner, capable of engaging and motivating students.
Be able to teach History at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5.
Be innovative, strategic, and highly motivated in their approach to teaching.
Inspire, support, and challenge students to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will:
Plan and prepare engaging and inspiring lessons.
Teach assigned pupils according to their educational needs, following our Teaching and Learning policy.
Assess, mark, and provide feedback in line with school policies to ensure student progress and attainment.
Participate in extra-curricular activities, including trips and enrichment opportunities.
Support school policies on dress code, student behaviour, and safeguarding.
Promote the well-being and personal development of students, providing guidance and support as needed.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending meetings, CPD sessions, and collaborative projects.
