Teacher of History job summary

St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to recruit a Teacher of History. This role will be based at St Augustine's Catholic High School. This is a permanent position.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teacher of History to provide stimulating and dynamic teaching for a vital area of our school. The successful candidate will provide initiative and innovation and will deliver lessons that foster a love of their subject through enthusiasm, and expertise.

We are looking for a highly-skilled and motivated teacher who can demonstrate a commitment to the development of exceptional teaching and learning in their subject. We expect that you will inspire students to achieve their academic potential, as well as developing them into confident, respectful individuals.

We would also consider secondments from other schools within St Raphael the Archangel CMAT. This would need to be with the agreement of your current Headteacher.

Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School was established in 1974 by the Archdiocese of Birmingham to serve the needs of Catholic families living in Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas and families of all beliefs. We currently have 945 students on roll in the 13-19 age range. Approximately 34% of our students and 25% of our staff are Catholic. We pride ourselves on being a Catholic school for all.
