We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics to further strengthen our mathematics faculty. Applications are welcome from colleagues (with QTS) at all stages of their career, including ECTs, who are committed to raising achievement in Mathematics, who believe they have the skills, passion and determination to lead our academy mathematics education to outstanding.

The successful candidate will be passionate in mathematics and securing successful outcomes for our students. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who will actively and positively promote mathematics within the academy and will teach engaging and challenging lessons to enable our pupils to progress and achieve. You will also play a vital role in fostering curiosity and critical thinking among our students.

Ormiston Meridian Academy is a thriving secondary academy in the south of the city, serving 11–16-year-old students. Leaders provide a clear and strategic approach to the curriculum, teaching and assessment approaches ensuring new members of the team have schemes of learning and lesson resources to hit the ground running.
