Teacher of Mathematics job summary
Required September 2022 or January 2023, a well-qualified, enthusiastic teacher of mathematics to join a strong, dedicated and dynamic team which has a unique and distinctive international curriculum and ethos. The Anglo European School is a comprehensive school with a curriculum informed by a strong international dimension and with pupils who demonstrate outstanding personal development and who achieve consistently above national averages in public examinations. All members of staff working at the school support the aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits programme and are supported by well- established well-being and professional development frameworks.

To be successful you will need to be a strong classroom practitioner with a commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning. We are looking for teachers who aim to remove barriers to learning, communicate a passion for their subject that inspires, motivates and enthuses students about Mathematics. This position would be suitable for an Early Careers teacher.
In 2021, the Mathematics Department achieved 91% 9-4 at GCSE with 100% 9-1. It is also a very popular subject in our outstanding Sixth Form. Sixth Form Results: ALPS 4 and 25% A*-B for A Level Maths, IBS Maths Analysis 100% 7-5, IBS Maths Applications 53%, IBH Maths Analysis 80% 7-5, IBH Maths Applications 80%
