Teacher of Mathematics job summary
The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics.

- Excellent results with over 20% gaining grade 7+ in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and beating the national average at 4+ and 5+

- Pupils entering advanced qualifications in Further Maths and Algebra
- Part of the Turing NW Maths Hub, located at our Ashton on Mersey school

We are looking for an individual who possesses:
- Honours Degree
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Enthusiastic and excellent classroom practitioner, to be able to teach Mathematics up to GCSE standard.
- Full working knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements for Mathematics subjects
- To be able to work as a member of a team
- To be committed to ensuring that every pupil is given the opportunity to achieve their potential and meet the high expectations set for them
- Take responsibility for their own professional development and to keep up to date with research and developments in both their subject and teaching methodology
- To be able to assist in the planning and organisation of school trips/visits
- To be able to work effectively with pupils, staff, parents and members of the community
