Are you passionate about the power of mathematics to unlock opportunities, develop confidence, and inspire young people to think differently about the world around them? Do you believe that every student can succeed in mathematics when challenged, supported and inspired by excellent teaching?
At The Brooksbank School, we know that mathematics is far more than numbers and equations. It is the language of problem-solving, logical thinking, innovation and discovery. Mathematics equips young people with the skills they need to succeed in education, employment and everyday life, and we are seeking a talented teacher who shares our ambition to make the subject engaging, accessible and aspirational for every learner.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics who is committed to fostering a love of the subject and helping students develop curiosity, resilience and confidence in their mathematical abilities. Whether introducing the elegance of algebra, the precision of geometry, or the challenge of complex problem-solving, you will be driven to bring mathematics to life in the classroom and help students recognise its relevance and importance beyond school. You will have the opportunity to support students in developing their mathematical understanding and aspirations across a range of abilities and stages of learning. For a suitably experienced teacher, there may also be the opportunity to teach A Level Mathematics.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and supportive department where mathematics is valued, collaboration is strong, and high-quality teaching is at the heart of everything we do. You will work alongside committed colleagues who share ideas, expertise and best practice, benefiting from established schemes of learning and a culture of continuous improvement.
If you are ready to inspire the next generation of mathematicians, problem-solvers, engineers, scientists and innovators, we would love to hear from you.
