We are looking for a Maths teacher who is energised by the chance to inspire young people and help shape a culture where curiosity, confidence and achievement flourish. A TLR 2 is attached to this role, recognising the additional responsibility involved in shaping high‑quality Maths provision and contributing to wider curriculum development across the school.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well‑structured Maths lessons that follow the academy curriculum and support strong progress.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupils’ learning needs, progress and achievements, using assessment effectively.
- Adapt teaching to meet pupils’ strengths and needs while maintaining high expectations and positive behaviour.
- Contribute to the wider life, ethos and development of the academy, working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Engage fully in professional development, appraisal and training to strengthen teaching practice, and support the development of others where appropriate
