Teacher of Maths job summary

We are seeking a fixed term Maths teacher to join us from 1st January 2026 until the end of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Reepham High School and College is located 14 miles North-West of Norwich, and our intake is broadly in line with the national average in terms of prior attainment, which is reflected in our most recent GCSE results. However, we want our GCSE outcomes to match our A-level outcomes that see us consistently in the top 20% of providers in the country and this is something we are working hard to achieve.

The successful candidate will join a supportive school community that has an ambition to improve the educational outcomes and school experience for all our students and a department that will be fully behind them and will have a timetable that primarily sees the teaching of KS3 students, with the potential for some KS4 delivery too.

As a school we value subject knowledge and have fully embraced a Rosenshine approach to teaching and learning. We hold high expectations of our students in both their conduct and what they can achieve and value strong working relationships between teachers and students.

The successful candidate will have excellent subject and pedagogical knowledge as well as strong interpersonal skills and most importantly be a team player.

For more information please contact: Karl Thomas, Head of Maths kthomas@reephamhigh.org.uk

Please be aware that Reepham High School and College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. References will be sought and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

We welcome applications before the deadline and may interview on an individual basis if a suitable candidate applies.
