We are looking for an exceptional teacher of Maths to join our growing team in our small family school. We are passionate about teaching of Maths and expect you to be too. 

We are looking for an individual to join the team as it continues to grow as our school numbers rise. The Maths Team is experienced, collaborative and supportive and are committed to excellence. Our outcomes in terms of both progress and attainment in Maths is very strong, with Maths being one of the top performing subjects in the school. 

The successful candidate will be dedicated, creative and enthusiastic with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes, have an incisive understanding of teaching and learning and the ability to reflect and challenge. Professional development opportunities are plentiful and we are working hard to be innovative around workload- we want you to have a balanced life and enjoy working with our children! We have really strong supportive policies on feedback, reporting and behaviour for learning that allow you and your team time to plan and teach excellent lessons. 

This post is appropriate for ECTs in particular wishing to start their career in our school. We have an excellent track record at supporting and developing ECT and providing career progression opportunities. Castle Manor Academy has a strong culture and a big heart. We are part of the Unity Schools Partnership with other secondary, primary and Special Free Schools and have a proven history of effective staff development and training. We are located 20 miles from Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds.
