City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Music for September 2023. In this exciting opportunity you will be part of the Music department delivering outstanding Music lessons. You will be starting your teaching career or developing your career.

COLAT is driven by the ambition to be the best. COLAT currently oversees six secondary academies, three primary academies and one sixth form centre all located in north, south and east London. We combine the heritage and tradition of the Corporation of London with a genuinely innovative, enterprising, and entrepreneurial ethos.

City of London Academy Highgate Hill, opened as a mixed, all-ability, non-denominational academy in September 2017, and is housed in a lovely building with excellent facilities for students, staff and the community. With the support of our enthusiastic students, diligent staff, supportive parents and cohesive governing body, we strive to provide a calm and purposeful learning environment underpinned by high expectations. City of London Academy Highgate Hill is based in the heart of an evolving community in Islington, and we value the diversity of our workforce. You will be an experienced or new qualified teacher looking to develop your career or begin your teaching career. You will have great behaviour management strategies and you will also have excellent organisation and you will also have excellent organisation and communication skills to liaise with students, staff, parents and external organisations. You must have experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4.
