Post: Teacher of Music Contract Type: Permanent Salary Range: MPS – UPS (£31,650 - £49,084 FTE) Working Type: Full Time Base: Essa Academy, Lever Edge Lane, Bolton, BL3 3HH

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Essa Academy are seeking to recruit a Teacher of Music from September 2025. The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Inspire and motivate our young people to fulfil their potential.
  • Demonstrate the drive and skill to raise standards of students' attainment and achievement.
  • Monitor and track student progress within their classes.
