Joseph Leckie Academy are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is an enthusiastic, innovative and engaging teacher of Music to join a dynamic and expanding subject and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher.
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
  • To share and support the Academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
  • Support and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and external professionals.
  • The successful candidate must hold QTS or equivalent and an honours degree in Music or related subject.
