Full Time, Temporary, Spring and Summer Terms (January -August 2027)
We seek applications from those of the Catholic faith, all faiths and of no faith but who are supportive of our Christian values and ethos.
We require a dynamic Teacher of PE to teach Boys PE across the full age and ability range, initially on a temporary basis for two terms (Spring and Summer terms 2027).
About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Boy’s Physical Education to join our successful PE department and build upon its recent achievements. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to be part of our thriving PE department, in particular helping to shape and support our continuing success in boys football and rugby.
The successful candidate will join a thriving Catholic school community where students are well behaved, motivated and eager to participate both in lessons and in the extensive programme of extracurricular sport. The department enjoys a strong reputation for academic and sporting excellence and plays a central role in school life.

PE is a vibrant, high-performing and highly valued subject within the school. The department has enjoyed significant recent success, both in examination outcomes and competitive sport, and plays a central role in promoting the school's culture of aspiration, teamwork and excellence.
In recent years, students have achieved strong outcomes in GCSE and Post-16 PE courses, with consistently high levels of progress and engagement. The department has also celebrated success across a range of competitive sports, with teams regularly competing and achieving success at local, district and county level. Participation in extracurricular sport continues to flourish, with large numbers of students representing the school and contributing to its reputation for sporting excellence.
The PE department is committed to developing the whole child and provides a broad programme of opportunities including competitive sport, leadership development, officiating, coaching and enrichment activities. Students are encouraged to develop resilience, confidence, teamwork and leadership skills alongside their academic achievements.
