What skills and experience we're looking for

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, enabling all students to achieve excellent progress in a supportive, challenging and inclusive environment. They will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster a love of languages, adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, use assessment effectively to support progress, and maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic curriculum, promote students’ confidence and communication skills, and play a key part in the continued success of the Modern Foreign Languages department.

About You

We would like you to:

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, and passion for your subject
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver an engaging curriculum
  • Be able to teach at least two of the following languages: French, German and Spanish
  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Promote good progress and outcomes of pupils
  • Be a positive team player who likes to work with, and support, others
  • Be keen to continue to develop your practice, sharing what works best with your team
