We seek to appoint an experienced, ambitious and talented Teacher of Religious Education with a relentless focus on ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to join a successful and supportive Humanities department within our inclusive and highly regarded Church of England school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will be committed to raising achievement and delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons that inspire curiosity and a deep understanding of religious traditions, ethics, and worldviews across all key stages.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply; however, we particularly encourage applications from experienced teachers who can bring strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of impact in the classroom, with the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Teach Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
  • Contribute to the development and enrichment of the RE curriculum
  • Support students in developing a strong understanding of diverse world religions and worldviews
  • Promote high standards of achievement for all learners, regardless of starting point
  • Work collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider school community
