We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Science to join our vibrant and successful department at Brookfield Community School. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference within a supportive and forward-thinking school community.
The appointed candidate will have the ability to teach art and textiles for KS3, KS4 and KS5. The post would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about their subject and has a real interest in developing young people. They will demonstrate an approachable manner, a keen eye for detail and the ability to motivate and manage the behaviour of students. The successful candidate will have the highest expectations of our students and will be keen to develop their practice.
This post is offered on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave from October 2026.
Whether you are an early career teacher or an experienced practitioner, you will bring enthusiasm, strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching that motivates and challenges all learners. You will be someone who builds positive relationships, maintains high expectations, and continuously strives to develop your practice.
