Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured, and challenging Science lessons across the curriculum.

  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work, assessments, and enrichment activities.

  • Promote high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour within the department.

  • Undertake additional whole-school responsibilities as agreed, supporting key priorities and school improvement initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Maintain high expectations and create a positive learning environment for all students

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced and motivated Science teacher with a track record of raising attainment.

  • Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for innovative teaching practise.

  • Shows leadership potential and the ability to contribute effectively to whole-school initiatives.

  • Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and the well-being of all students.

  • Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff, students, and parents.
