What skills and experience we're looking for
The Role: Teacher of Social Sciences (MPS/UPS)
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Social Sciences to join our team. This role is ideal for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing and vibrant Social Sciences offer, which includes subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, PRE, Philosophy & Ethics and Health & Social Care depending on experience. Candidates should have a specialism, but an ability to teach a range of subjects would be an advantage. There will be KS4 and KS5 teaching opportunities.
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
Embrace our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.
Be passionate about Social Sciences and committed to securing excellent outcomes for all learners.
Demonstrate ambition, optimism and strong belief in what students and the Academy can achieve.
Bring enthusiasm to wider school life — whether as a Form Tutor, through extra‑curricular or enrichment activities, or by developing a unique specialism that inspires our students.
