What skills and experience we're looking for

Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.

Due to internal promotion, increased popularity and student numbers our Business Department is expanding. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated teacher to teach Vocational Business within our successful and supportive department. You will have the skills and abilities to provide an outstanding student experience through teaching, learning and assessment, enabling students to maximise their potential. We are looking for an innovative and committed classroom practitioner who would work collaboratively with the team, the post holder will play a key role in inspiring students to engage with the subject material and to participate actively in lessons. As a committed and dedicated teacher, the post holder will contribute to all aspects of the curriculum, ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning experience. You will also contribute to the development of the existing enrichment programme currently including visits, academic tutoring and peer coaching. The ability to teach A level Business would be an advantage.
