What skills and experience we're looking for

St Ignatius Catholic Primary School are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher to work in our Early Years provision. Our new teacher will champion early learning and social-emotional growth, and aligned to the EYFS curriculum, inspire the development of essential skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. By collaborating with support staff and connecting with parents with a listening and caring approach, the teacher will nurture the education and holistic development of young learners, paving the way for their bright futures.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning
  • Will positively support the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Is a highly effective classroom practitioner with high expectations, creative approaches to learning and a strong belief in teamwork and collaboration
  • Will plan and prepare engaging and stimulating activities for children of all abilities
  • Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and National Curriculum
  • Can positively impact children in all aspects of their education including pastoral care
  • Is committed to inclusion
