Blofield Primary School is a one-form entry school located on the outskirts of Norwich. In April 2025, we moved into a brand-new, purpose-built site designed to support high-quality teaching and learning, with capacity for 420 pupils.
We are proud of our exceptional facilities, including:
- A dedicated cookery and practical learning room
- A well-stocked library
- Extensive sports facilities, including a separate studio hall
- A specialist music teaching space
- A developing Forest School site
Our knowledge-rich, inclusive curriculum is enhanced through whole-school topic days, specialist music and PE provision, and a wide range of creative learning opportunities designed to inspire curiosity and ambition.
If our passion for learning and commitment to every child’s success resonate with you, we would be delighted to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is positive with a sense of humour
- Builds strong, positive relationships with children based on mutual respect and understanding
- Has consistently high expectations of learning, behaviour and personal development
- Has experience of supporting children and assisting teachers with the implication of support plans, including EHCPs
- Has a knowledge of teaching phonics and early reading
- Is able to support the teacher in managing children’s behaviour in line with the school’s ethos and culture – connection over correction
- Is enthusiastic about being part of the wider life of the school
- Is hardworking, flexible and an effective communicator
- Enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to continuous personal growth
We can offer you:
- A warm, caring and highly supportive team, governing body and PTA
- Children who are enthusiastic, motivated and keen to succeed
- A fantastic learning environment in a brand-new building
- A rich, relevant and engaging curriculum which continues to evolve
- A strong ethos of reflection, innovation and professional learning
