What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a skilled, experienced and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our Year 2 team in order to support a pupil with complex medical and developmental needs.

We are a welcoming, inclusive school rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted.

The successful applicant will:

  • Undertake a range of specialist tasks to support the learning and development of the pupil, including delivering a personalised curriculum (planned by the class teacher and/or SENDCo) and assisting with intimate care;
  • Promote the pupil's independence and positive behaviour through a ‘least help first’ approach;
  • Have a positive impact on the attainment and progress of the pupil, taking into consideration their complex needs;
  • Have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience
