What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to an expansion of the Inclusion team, we are seeking to appoint a motivated and experienced individual to join a large team of friendly Teaching Assistants within a busy department. If you are passionate about securing the best outcomes for pupils and enjoy being part of a strong support team then this role is for you!

You will be working with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils whilst also promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. You will give assistance to pupils so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.

Duties will include supporting students in mainstream lessons, small groups or 1 to 1 sessions in order to facilitate pupil learning, engagement, inclusion, and development of the whole child.

Working at Crompton House School is stimulating, challenging and fun. Life here is always varied, never dull and infinitely interesting because our pupils are highly independent learners and very enthusiastic and willing participants in learning activities.

This helps the staff to be passionate about everything they do and there is a great sense of community. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in school life beyond the curriculum and within the wider community
