Teaching Assistant job summary
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Claycots School. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with Class Teachers to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing, helping every child to achieve their full potential. You will play an important part in creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to succeed.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support, work with individual pupils and small groups, assist with planning and learning activities, and contribute to the effective management of the classroom. The role includes supporting pupils with a range of needs, including those with SEND, promoting independence, confidence and excellent learning behaviours. You will build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, while demonstrating our core values of Respect, Integrity, Curiosity and Kindness.
This position would suit someone who is passionate about education, committed to making a difference in children's lives and eager to develop professionally.
