We are seeking a committed, hard-working and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our experienced and supportive team. This is a varied role, and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about making a difference and passionate about supporting all children to thrive — academically, socially and emotionally.

The successful candidate will:

Provide support across the school day, including in-class support, leading small group interventions and delivering 1:1 support where needed.

Demonstrate flexibility and confidence in responding to the needs of individual pupils, including those with SEND or SEMH needs.

Take a nurturing, child-centred approach, with a strong pastoral focus, and a genuine desire to support the development of the whole child.

Be calm, patient and resilient, able to build positive relationships and support children who may be neurodivergent, have mental health needs, or have experienced trauma.

Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to plan and deliver support that helps all children to access not just the curriculum, but the full life of the school.

Experience of working in a school setting is essential. A Level 3 (or equivalent) teaching support qualification and knowledge of SEND and effective strategies for supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable.

In return, we offer:

A warm, welcoming and inclusive school community

A dedicated and collaborative staff team

Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
