Working Pattern: Wednesday - Friday, Term time only 8.30 to 3.30pm
Grade: KSA £24,513
Salary: Pro rata £10,410 (increasing to £11,112 from April)
Position Start Date: As soon as possible

The Role

You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and development. This role involves assisting in lessons, providing targeted support for individuals or small groups, and helping to create a positive, engaging classroom environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and enjoys working with children.
Main Duties

  • Supporting pupils to engage in learning and helping them make progress.
  • Providing tailored support for pupils with additional needs under the direction of the teacher or SENCo.
  • Helping to set up and organise learning resources.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and modelling high expectations at all times.
  • Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school where required (e.g. playground duty, trips).
