Teaching Assistant with Mealtime Assistant duty
4 full days and one morning , 39 weeks per year
22.25hrs per week Teaching Assistant NJC Grade C, £13.92ph
5hrs per week Mealtime Assistant Duty NJC Grade A, £13.28ph

This role will be to provide general classroom support across the school, but maybe tailored to a specific key stage/class depending on the successful applicants skillset and knowledge. We are looking for an individual with a strong, sensitive and nurturing approach to children’s needs, who can be flexible, communicate effectively and think creatively. You will need to show a high degree of initiative and be solution focussed.

- Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
- Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;

- Be energetic, positive and enthusiastic;
- Be able to use your own initiative when required
Ideally, you should already have a good knowledge of all key stages and early years including phonics, but training will be provided otherwise, plus literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C or equivalent. You would need to be flexible, as you will also be required to undertake the role of part time Meal Time Assistant.
