THE POST
We are looking for a positive and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join the team at Wymondham College Prep School on a permanent basis. The role will support the complement the professional work of teachers as directed.
The successful candidate will:
• Ideally be a qualified NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or a graduate with good standards of literacy and numeracy.
• Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
• Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality and a good sense of humour.
• Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
• Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or in transit between
Experience working in a classroom environment is highly desirable and the ability to communicate clearly and work with the best interests of the pupils.
