Teaching Assistant job summary
The Governors are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic teaching assistant for our popular and thriving school. The successful candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and experience of working with children who, through their own specific needs, can exhibit challenging behaviours. We require an individual who shows great skills of empathy, understanding and consistency to work both in class and out across the school to support and nurture some of our more vulnerable children. Half an hour each day (12.40-1.10pm) will be spent supporting children with their play during their lunch break. We can offer you an incredibly supportive staff and school community who want the best for the children of Arno Vale, as well as excellent CPD opportunities.
Hours are: Monday to Friday, 8.55am to 12 noon and 12.40 pm to 3.35pm. 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) term time only
