What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidates will have;
- A qualification in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A*- C or Level 2.
- NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant work experience.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people across the school and externally.
- Reliability, motivation and resilience under pressure.

At Priory Community School, we believe in creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Our ASD Resource Centre provides tailored support for secondary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them to achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a Teaching Assistant in our ASD Resource Centre, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with ASD to access their education and develop essential life skills. Working closely with teachers, the SENDCo, and other support staff, you will provide targeted assistance to help students overcome challenges and make progress in their learning journey.
