Teaching Assistant job summary
Roman Hill Primary School are looking for a dynamic Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning and promote the wider development of pupils at our school. This post is being offered on a permanent basis.
This role requires a patient, dedicated, positive individual who is passionate about working with children. Knowledge or experience of a trauma-informed approach to supporting children would be a distinct advantage.
The hours of work in this role are 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

The successful candidate will:
- Be child centred and committed to the ethos of our school
- Be a reflective practitioner who considers the needs of all children
- Have the drive to help our children achieve their potential across a broad and stimulating curriculum
- Be keen to be part of a team, prepared to constantly review your practice and strive for excellence
- Be dedicated to forming effective working relationships with pupils
- Have experience of, or an interest in supporting pupils with special educational needs.
