What skills and experience we're looking for
“A Teaching Assistant takes a hand, opens a mind & touches a heart”
We are currently recruiting to expand our brilliant staff team and strengthening it further in all areas of the school and college. We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will be based at our Wimborne (College) or Colehill (School) sites with a “can do” attitude. This position is offered on a full time, term-time only basis.
The role involves assisting the teacher and other teaching assistants in the development and implementation of a program of work and in providing a stable, caring and supportive learning environment for the pupils. You will be part of a team that is experienced and supportive where you can really get to know the pupils and your colleagues whilst working with pupils in small groups. The role is very varied, with no one day being the same, whilst being extremely rewarding. The working hours are 8:45am to 3:45pm with half an hour for lunch Monday to Friday.
This is an opportunity to join our passionate, enthusiastic and outstanding team! We are seeking a motivated, skilled and resilient person. You will have experience of and be confident in supporting young people with SEND, including those with complex needs. You will have a flexible approach, exemplary communication skills and be able to meet the challenging needs of our young people. If the above describes you, we would love to hear from you!
