Teaching Assistant job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher, although we need you to be confident to notice and take the initiative. Some support will be targeted for children who need a little extra, such as providing sensory and/or emotional regulating breaks and for the most part, this will be delivered within the classroom. Training and support can be provided where needed. You will strive to continually develop individual pupils’ academic, social and emotional development through the provision of a stable, caring and supportive learning environment.
