Teaching Assistant job summary

The successful candidate will be:

Have a warm, caring, nurturing personality with a friendly disposition.

An understanding of how to best to support SEND children.

    Be able to develop positive relationships with children and parents.

    Be able to work alongside our teachers, pastoral team, parents and outside agencies to support children’s learning and progress

    Have experience of Read Write Inc.

    Be able to support pupils in development skills in independence, self-confidence, and social interaction.

    Have high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour.

    Be enthusiastic, flexible and organised with excellent communication skills and initiative.
