Teaching Assistant job summary
Branton St Wilfrid’s is a vibrant and ever improving learning community and is seeking to appoint a caring and resilient Teaching Assistant with good curriculum knowledge, who has high expectations for all pupils and a passion for supporting children’s learning. We value those who have a strong team ethos and are also self-motivated in order to develop themselves alongside the children.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in an educational environment with children and hold a relevant qualification. They will have detailed knowledge of school policies and procedures and have an ability to relate well to children and adults. They will also have a calm, pleasant and sympathetic manner and be committed to the values and ethos of our Church School.
A current first aid certificate would be an advantage.
